Privacy, without the weird fine print.

What we collect

When you create an account, Aura processes your email address, display name, username, bio, city and about text, date of birth, and profile photos. Your email and birthday are private; your profile details, photos, theme, and Aura score are visible to other Aura users.

We also store Aura votes, deduplicated profile views, blocks, reports, subscription entitlement status, and limited product events. Positive voters may be shown to the Pro profile they supported; negative-vote identities are never disclosed. We do not use facial recognition, biometric templates, or AI attractiveness scoring.

How we use it

We use this information to authenticate you, show profiles, calculate Aura scores, enforce daily voting and anti-abuse limits, operate rankings, process reports, and improve reliability.

Supabase provides Aura's authentication, database, file storage, and server-function infrastructure. Information may be processed where our service providers operate, subject to their security and privacy commitments.

Safety and sharing

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Reports are restricted to authorised moderation workflows. Blocks prevent profiles from appearing to one another in discovery.

We may preserve or disclose limited information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce our rules, or investigate abuse.

Apple and payments

Aura Pro purchases are processed and verified through the Apple App Store. We store the verified product, transaction reference, status, environment, and expiration associated with your Aura account, but never receive or store your payment card details.

You can restore eligible purchases inside Aura and manage or cancel subscriptions through your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Your controls

You can edit your profile, replace or remove photos, block users, sign out, and permanently delete your account from Settings. Deletion removes your authentication record and cascades through profile data, photos, votes, blocks, and related records.

Aura is for people aged 13 and older. Contact us through the Support page for privacy questions or requests that cannot be completed in the app.
